Service Center
The Knoxville Service Center was established in May 2007 to meet the growing need for major steam turbine repair. The center expanded TGM's services to include OEM-level repair, fabrication, and design, and compliments the long-standing history of TGM as a strong, customer-focused field service organization.
The Knoxville Center is centrally located in East Tennessee.

Steam Turbine Water Induction
Water can come from a variety of sources (feedwater heaters, extractions, admissions, and steam attemperation, to name a few). The detection and prevention of water induction is of utmost importance due to the damage that water can cause to the internal blade path. Water induction happens more often during start-up, shutdown, and load changes; rarely will it occur while the unit is at full load and at a steady state.
