Technical Director
The Technical Director / Project Manager reports directly to the CEO and will be directly responsible for all work performed at the jobsite as well as any work related to the project.
Primary Functions:
- Provide technical and commercial leadership while managing turbine generator maintenance projects for the power and cogeneration industries
- Satisfy our customers through execution of outages in a cost effective and timely manner
- Manage and direct TGM employees and subcontractors on the jobsite
- Participate as requested in technical sales visits
- Conduct outage planning visits and provide required deliverables
Requisites:
A Technical Director should have a strong technical background in turbine generators and have demonstrated leadership and management abilities to manage projects up to $3m in size. This person should have a reputation of completing high quality projects on-time.
Expectations:
Part of employment at TGM is the unpredictability of the work. The position of Technical Director requires extensive travel by car and/or commercial airline with necessary overtime and weekend work.
He should have a neat, well-groomed appearance that reflects the precise work that a customer expects from TGM. His attitude toward both co-workers and customers alike will be respectful and cooperative. The Technical Director should be dedicated to providing a safe and positive work environment. He will be responsible for expenditure of large sums of TGM and customers' funds.
Customers have a high degree of loyalty to us because we respond immediately to their problems. This means that when you are called upon to respond to a customer, you are expected to do so.
