Foreman

The Foreman contributes to the successful execution of contracts by leading a qualified and cohesive crew of mechanics. He is directly responsible for assigning work and monitoring the progress and quality of all work performed by TGM personnel and its subcontractors. He has direct contact with many of the customer’s employees and is, therefore, responsible for interacting with them in a way that projects the positive, professional image of TGM. The Foreman reports to the TGM Technical Director on each job.

Requisites:
The Foreman is experienced in working with a contractor as a Mechanic or Millwright, performing essentially the same work performed by TGM. He has a reputation of performing quality work in a timely manner and has strong leadership skills. Foremen have a cadre of good Turbine Mechanics and an exceptional customer service record.

Part of employment at TGM is the unpredictability of the project schedule. Foremen travel extensively either by car or commercial airline. Overtime and weekend work are necessary.

The Foreman is neat and well-groomed—an appearance that reflects the precise work the customer expects from TGM. The Foreman works closely with the customers and, at all times, handles situations in a respectful and cooperative manner. This attitude is also present in dealing with co-workers.
