Our Generator Specialist / Director of Generator Services has 16 years experience in power generation maintenance and repair, and he runs TGM's generator services, including all of TGM's reliability programs.

TGM offers testing and inspection on generators, circuit breakers, transformers, and motors. Since such inspections are pertinent to unit reliability, we call them Reliability Programs.

Generator Reliability Programs

TGM employs a variety of tests and inspections to perform condition-based maintenance on generators. No one single test or inspection will provide comprehensive information on machine condition. Generators are subjected to a variety of thermal, mechanical, electrical, environmental, and chemical stresses. Therefore, a variety of tests and inspections should be performed on a regular basis as tools to provide the best possible picture of machine condition. These tools include a variety of off-line and on-line tests in addition to visual inspections.
